Some of the best deals today are on satellite TV service. If you pay your cable company $80 to $100 a month for a digital cable lineup, you will recognize significant savings by switching over to a satellite bundle. But is the Direct TV rebate worth the two year contract required when you sign up for service?
Keep in mind that the regular price on Direct TV will apply during year two, so that is what you will want to compare to what you currently pay your local cable provider. Generally though, even that will be 15-20% lower than what they charge. Add to that the $31 monthly rebate you get by signing up with Direct TV, which adds up to more than $360 over the course of a year. It really begins to add up and become a significant money saver when you switch from cable to satellite when you look at it this way.

A few months back I wasn’t a fan of the TV and I used to spend most of my time outdoors drinking and engaging in physical activities. Then I used to love the outdoors where I could get to do lots of stuff, but this is no more. I found myself a girlfriend who happens to be a fan of the indoors and somehow she managed to change my perception of the indoors.
This girl stays indoors for the better part of the day watching the TV. She loves the iplayer TV channels and she has managed to hook me up with an iplayer system to use when I travel out of the country. I am grateful to this girl for changing my life and now when I get to the foreign country I believe I will be able to spend more time indoors just watching the iplayer overseas without any problems.
